From birth to five years of age, kids form more than 1 million neural connections every second. Those critical changes taking place in their bodies and minds mean we must hold early learning experiences to high standards and give children the best chances at success.

We work with community members to develop and provide innovative educational programs that nurture children to be their most brilliant selves. It’s a responsibility we take seriously, which is why we offer expert-led training sessions and seminars for parents, caregivers, and early childhood educators to ensure everyone acts in the best interest of children.
Four decades of dedication
For more than 40 years, the Association for Supportive Child Care (Candelen) has collaborated with Arizonans to convey the important role children’s early years play in their longterm success, health, and wellbeing. What started as a three-person operation has evolved into a multi-city organization that puts kids’ best interests at the heart of every decision.
