What did you want to be when you grew up?
Because of a heavy interest in forensics and anatomy, I always wanted to be a mortician or medical examiner! My mother talked me out of that one.
What lasting lesson have you learned from Candelen?
Working at Candelen has allowed me to blossom into the leader I am today. I’ve been given the space to be independent and creative, and my teammates always push me to be unapologetically myself. Because of my fellow leaders, I’ve grown comfortable and confident in my skill set and ideas, and my voice is louder than ever. My favorite lasting lesson though? Don’t be afraid to ask for forgiveness instead of permission.
