Candelen Announces Vice President of Programs, Jay Conyers
February 17, 2022 |Candelen is thrilled to announce that former Executive Director & CEO for the Maricopa County Medical Society, Jay Conyers, has been named the organization's Vice President of Programs.

Conyers has almost 20 years of success in nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups, and academia, including work with Cancer Support Community Arizona and The University of Texas Health Science Center. His academic credentials include a Doctorate of Philosophy in Physical & Analytical Chemistry from the University of Utah, a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Trinity University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Tulane University.
Jay has spent his almost two decade career in the healthcare industry, but he is excited to leverage his program development, analytics, and fundraising skills to help us in our mission to ensure that every child can achieve the brightest outlook possible.

Conyers' new role as Vice President of Programs will exercise overall strategic and operational responsibility for all program areas, developing deep knowledge of program mentorship, monitoring, and development of growth opportunities on a local, regional, and national basis.
